WORLD BLOOD DONOR DAY

The world today celebrated the life heroes, who keeps life going by saving millions of lives and stop avoidable death, these are known as BLOOD DONORS. 

Therefore, every 14th of June was set aside by World Health Organisation to celebrate World blood donors. 

The theme for this year's celebration was tagged ; 

Safe blood for all. 

The choosing of the 14th of June is also important been the birthday of a great Biologist who discovered & differentiated between various blood groups as far back as 1900,such as A, B & 0 blood groups.

Since there's yet to be alternative to blood, neither is there a manufacturing of it, therefore, those who at there own volition give out of their own blood to safe others deserve all accolades, thus the reason for 14th of June as directed by the World health organisation to all her subscribed states across the globe.

Blood remains the life of the flesh, so there's no alternative to it's usages, it aids those that suffer from haemoglobin deficiency as a result of anti natal, accident and other issues that causes lost of blood to bounce back to life through the process of transfusion.

It's the ambition of the World health Organisation that each nations should have sufficient blood for usage through voluntary blood donors, therefore, it is a clarion call to all & sundry to answer this humanitarian call.

Be a blood donor today, be a life saver.
