OLAMIDE OREKUNRIN is a health care entrepreneur. A British / Nigerian medical doctor and helicopter pilot, with specialized training in aviation medicine, after graduation as a medical doctor at a tender age in the UK.

She is the founder of FLYING DOCTORS NIGERIA, an on air health care outfit, offering first aid treatment and medical care on air helicopter ambulance, while taking the patience to the nearby hospital across west Africa. The outfit referred to as the number one of such in west Africa sub region.

Her motivation for this arm of medical care service, came by, when she lost her sister to sickle cell disease while on a trip and there was no medium for first aid treatment enroute the nearest hospital.

Such experience prompted her to see the reason for medical service improvement in west Africa as a whole, most especially mobile care for a patient on the way to the hospital.

Her passion for humanity, most especially health care improvement in Nigeria and west Africa, made her left the comfort in the united kingdom to settled in Lagos, Nigeria, saving lives.
